hey mate!!
amoeba obtains its food by the process of phagocytosis
1) amoeba takes in food using temorary finger like projections /extensions of cell surface which fuse over the food particle forming a food vacuole.
2)inside the food vacuole, complex substances are broken down into simpler ones which then diffuse into cytoplasm.
3) the remaining undigested material is moved out to the surface of the cell and thrown out.
hope it helped!!

Amoeba consumes it's food by the process of endocytosis. it is flexible cell membrane . it engulfs the food particles with the help of pseudopodia and then forms a couple around it. when the particle is completely trapped the amoeba secrets digestive enzymes to digest food thus the amoeba obtains it's food.
