Amoeba obtain its food by the process of endocytosis.It has flexible cell membrane.It engulfs the food particle with the help of psedupodia and then forms a vacuole around it.

Amoeba is a single cell organism so it obtains it's food by extension finger like structure in the cell surface in which it fuse over the food particle which form food vacuole . in the food vacuole the Complex substance are broken down into simpler ones hence nutrition is obtained in amoeba
