how does amoeba takes nutrition

Amoeba is a heterotroph.It takes it nutrition from it's predators,i.e, other organisms. It grows pseudopodia and envulfs the food. It is further broke down by enzymes present in the food vacuoles of amoeba.

when food comes near amoeba it stretches its
plasma membrane and engulfs the food
