In this process it takes the food in through pseudopodia presented in the cell where the food particles form the food vacuole. The complex substances are broken and diffuse into cytoplasm. But the undigested food was thrown out through the surface of the cell. This whole process includes ingestion, digestion, absorption, assimilation and egestion.
