How does an amoeba obtain it's food?

Pseudopodia (false feet) present in amoeba helps it capture food

The amoeba obtains it's food through the help of pseudofeet or false feet. It extends it's feet around the food particles and encloses it from all the sides. After that, it engulfs it's food and digest it.
