how does an amoeba obtain its food?

Amoeba options it's food through the process of PHAGOCYTOSIS. I this process the amoeba first allows the food to come in its religion then it changes its shape to take it inside.Once it takes the food inside it encloses its shape. Actually Amoeba has no definite shape.

Amoeba is unicellular animal it acquires its food by the process of endocytosis plasma membrane of amoeba is flexible with its help Amoeba and engulfs food particles.

The engulfed food particles passes into body of organism as a phagosome. Phagosome combines with lysosome to produce digestive or food vacoule.
