How does an electric motor work? (3 marks)

Electric motor converts the electrical energy into the machenical energy.
Works:-When the coil are put into the magnetic field and the electric pass from it then it experience a force which help then to rotate the axel of motor and used it for the mechanical works.
It can be used in fans,turbines,coolers etc.

electric motor works on the principal in this a rotator is kept b/w 2 magnates and split ring and bushes connected to a battery and switch when we switch on the current start flowing throw split ring the current goes in rotator from position AB to CD ab pushes upwards and throw force act in CD pushes it downward
