Mark Antony, through his persuasive art, succeeds in gaining sympathy of the mob and turning the tables against the conspirators. He in his funeral oration manages to stir the emotions of the mob. He uses rhetorical tricks to persuade the people to go to against the conspirators. He , dramatically, enters with Caesar's body to win the sympathy of the crowd and starts out by addressing the crowd as friends. By calling Brutus and Cassius 'honourable' repeatedly. He conveys a sense of sarcasm . He rebuts Brutus' statement that Caesar was ambitious which makes the crowd believe Brutus is lying. Antony then appeals to the greed of the mob by mentioning Caesar's will, which they beg him to read out. Antony says by doing that he will wrong the honourable men whose daggers have stabbed Caesar if he reads the will. Then Antony deals his final blow by revealing to the crowd Caesar's will in which every Roman citizen is his legal heir. He then asks the crowd, "Here was a Caesar, when comes such another?" which questions the conspirators ability to lead.
