Any body to revolve or perform circular motion requires a centripetal force, which, in this case is provided by the gravitational attractive force between the satellite and the earth directed towards the centre of earth.
And no force is balanced. Force acts on the body and that is the centripetal force but the thing is that this force is perpendicular to the velocity of the light so that it performs circular motion. And we know if a constant force acts on the body, it moves with constant speed, not velocity, in circular motion I.e; UCM. Remember I am talking about force in circular motion and not any other.
