How does astronomy relate to meteorology?

Meteorology is about atmosphere (especially earth's) and astronomy is about things beyond atmosphere (stars, planets, solar system, galaxies, etc). Both study about things above ground of earth. Both make observation about nature upward so the scientist who study it look up.
