As you know that gases are released from various industries ,from transport and from burning wastes.
Then these gases are released into the atmosphere and then mixes with other gases in the atmosphere and forms a chemical reaction which causes various diseases.
So hence atmosphere forms a medium of transport for gaseous wastes.
