Hey mate thank for the question

Hope it helps

ATOMIC SIZE

Along the period

(1)Nuclear charge = the nuclear charge increases when we move along the period because the atomic size decreases and the valence shell/electron come closer to

the nucleus

(2) Atomic radius =since the nuclear charge increases the atomic radius also decreases because the nuclear pull increases

So the atomic size decrease when we move along the period because nuclear charge increases which attract the valence shell

Down the group

(1)Nuclear charge= nuclear charge decreases when we move down the group because the nuclear pull decreases and valence shell become far from the nucleus

(2)Atomic radius =the atomic radius increases because the nuclear pull decrease and the valence shell become far from the nucleus so atomic size increases

So the atomic size increases increases when we move down the group because the nuclear pull decreases
