how does aurora occurs ?

Aurora occurs when sunspot occurs. U full a tub with water and then do a hole in it.U will observe that the water will pass through the hole like a tornado.Just like that sunspots take place in Sun's surface.So when it is released, it just explodes like a bomb and then the flairs of sun goes far in the space.
Earth have a magnetic field around it.So when the flair strikes the field, it separates then and send them in to to poles of earth.
When this highly charged particles interact with the atmosphere, it emmits different colored radiation.But because our eye can only see green colour because of it's wavelength we see the green color only.
These are one of the majestic phenomenon of cosmos.
Aurora in Northern pole is known as Aurora Australis and in Southern pole is known as Aurora Boriyalis.
