Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteriachange in some way that reduces or eliminates the effectiveness of drugs, chemicals, or other agents designed to cure or prevent infections. The bacteriasurvive and continue to multiply causing more harm. Bacteria can do this through several mechanisms.

ANSWER: Bacteria become resistant against antibody because of presence of capsule which is made up of polysachorides and protein which makes bacteria more pathogenous and prevent bacteria from defence mechanism of host or antibody.
