Bile help in digestion of fat by emulsifying the fat.

  • Bile salts acts as a detergent to reduce the surface tension of fat to convert the fat molecule into small fat globule.
  • Digestion of fat is done in small intestine.
  • Fat molecule is insoluble in water ,therefore it is necessary to breakdown fats in small globule which is soluble in water so, that the digestion of fat will further take place.
