➡️ In binary fission, the organism was divided into two equal halves following mitotic division as a result 2 new organisms are formed.

But in multiple fission, the body of organism produces a large number of nuclei by repeated mitosis, without any actual division of cell. Later on each nucleus collect some cytoplasm and produces new organisms in this way a large number of new organisms are produced.

multiple fission is simply division of parent cell into 2 daughter cells while as multiple fission is division into more than two cells
