Binary fission : Two daughter cells are produced from the single parent cell.It is splitting of single cell into two halves. It needs favourable conditions.Cytoplasm divide after each nuclear division .
:multiple fission: Two or multiple daughter cells are produced from the single parent cell.It can occur in unfavourable conditions also. Cytoplasm does not divide after each nuclear division .Example: Plasmodium and amoeba

In binary fission, the parent cell divides into two equal parts forming two daughter cells while in multiple fission,parent cell divides into many daughter cells
