how does binary fission different from multiple fission ?

in binary fission only one offspring produced by breaking of parent unicellular organism but in multiple fusion a parent unicellular organism divided to produce large no. of offspring

In binary fission, the organism ( parent cell ) gets divided into two progenies ( daughter cells) . Ex. bacteria, amoeba etc.

In multiple fission, the organism ( parent cell ) gets divided into many progenies.
Ex. plasmodium
