How does Bohr model of an atom explain the following ?

(i) Bhor's model explained that by explaining how an electron revolves around the nucleus in fixed energy shells.


(ii) Bohr said that the absorption of energy changed the principal quantum number of an electron in an atom by increasing it.
And the energy packet gets released after some time changing the principal quantum number to normal.
