Hello user!!

The Mechanics of HumanBreathing. The relationship between gas pressure and volume helps to explain the mechanics ofbreathing. Boyle's Law is the gaslaw which states that in a closed space, pressure and volume areinversely related. As volume decreases, pressure increases and vice versa.

Hi mate here is ur query

________________

Breathing is the inflow and outflow of air between atmosphere and the alveoli of the lungs. It occurs by contraction and relaxation of lungs which is brought about by contraction and relaxation of muscles surrounding the lungs. These muscles include external & internal intercostal muscles, abdominal muscles and the diaphragm.

According to the statement of Boyle's law, for a fixed amount of an ideal gas kept at a fixed temperature, pressure and volume are inversely proportional. Or it can be expressed as, PV= constant

In the lungs, as the volume increases, pressure decreases and vice versa. So, the inverse relation of pressure and volume creates a pump which causes breathing. This is how the lungs follow the Boyle's law.
