How does burning of fossil fuels contribute towards air pollution ?

burning of fossil fuels releases a lot amount of gases in the atmosphere. some of these gases are carbon dioxide, oxides of sulphur and nitrogen, carbon monoxide etc. as these gases contribute to greenhouse effect and cause many health ailments, they contribute towards air pollution

Uses of fossil fuel leads to pollution mostly. When fossil fuels are burned it gives out carbon dioxide in a plenty of amount this accompanies mostly the greenhouse effect and leads to global warming. It also gives out sulphur dioxide which leads to acid rain.
