The 3 types of muscle tissues are cardiac, smooth, and skeletal.

Cardiac muscle[ also called heart muscle or myocardium ] is an involuntary muscle  is found only in the heart. It contracts rhythmically under control from the autonomic nervous system and is not under conscious control. It has a greater number of mitochondria than skeletal muscles due to the need for continual contractions

Voluntary muscle (skeletal muscle) can be controlled voluntarily to bring about movement of the skeleton . Skeletal muscle has different fibre types depending on the endurance requirement and speed of contraction required.

Unlike skeletal muscle, smooth muscle can never be under your control.It’s function is mainly in the gut and internal organs.
