The caste system has resulted a lot of discrimination since the society is divided into different compartments. Those from the higher castes exploit the lower caste more so the shudras and the untouchables who are forced to perform menial task with little pay.

Before independence cast system prevailed According to it a person is priced into four classes on the basis of its birth
These classes are Brahmin shudra Kshatriya and vaishya
Shudras were most discriminated during history of India so after Independence they were given reservation to benefit and free from this taboo
They are given reservation in every section of service whether they are capable or not they are given preference this reservation had its dark side to most brilliant students or succumb to this biased system in earlier days it was shudras who were untouchables now it is brainier students who are victimised
