How does Catla differ from mrigal?

Catla is the only member of the Cyprinidae family of carp. A surface feeder, it is native to the Northern waters of India and has a protruding lower jaw. Mrigal is a species of ray-finned fish which is native to the Ganges and Birahmaputra Rivers of India. They are extensively aqua farmed and are bottom-feeders
