How does chlorination help in filtering water?
->Use your answer as an inspiration for something you can practically do, like what can you create out of chlorination(a product you would recommend- not a brand name) which may be used for filtering in our daily lives.

Please do reply if you know the answer, thank you in advance :)

Answer:

Chlorine kills pathogens such as bacteria and viruses by breaking the chemical bonds in their molecules. Disinfectants that are used for this purpose consist of chlorine compounds which can exchange atoms with other compounds, such as enzymes in bacteria and other cells.
