Answer:

Cu has vallency of 2 while Cl 1.

By criss-crossing, Cl accquires the vallency of Cu while Cu gets that of Cl.

The vallency of Al is 3 while that of Cl is 1.

By criss-crossing, Al accquires the valency of Cl, that is 1, while Cl gets that of Al, that is 3.
