Cleistogamy ensures autogamy as cleistogamous flowers do not open at all and hence there is no chance of cross pollination as there is no chance of cross-pollen landing on the stigma.

Cleistogamous flowers always remain close in their bud. These are mostly bisexual. Because of these features, the dispersion of pollen grains always occur inside the bud and on the stigma of pistil or capel of same flower of these pollen grains. This results in the self pollination. Hence we can say that cleistogamous ensure autogamy.
