crop rotation helps in restoring lots nutrients of the soil as first the crop plants use up all the nitrogen in the soil . to restore the nitrogen the farmers plant a leguminous plant which contains bacteria which changes the atmospheric nitrogen in usable nitrogen compounds than being used up by the crop plants. thus this helps in restoring the lots nutrients of the land.

Shirsa: More scientific than geographic
gkdk: I am not so good at social science
Shirsa: It is Ok^_^
gkdk: thank you
