In a fearful dream Calpurnia saw uncommon things occurring in the streets. She dreamt a lioness giving birth to cubs in the street of Rome, graves opening and fiery warriors fighting. Calpurnia also dreamt that the Caesar’s statue with a hundred spouts emitting blood from them like a fountain. Many lusty Romans were bathing their hands in it. There were crooked smiles on their faces. Calpurnia apprehend it as a prophecy of her husband’s death.
Decius Brutus is a smart, clever flatterer of Caesar. He cleverly turns Calpurnia’s interpretations about her dream to his own advantage. He tells that it has been a lucky and fortunate dream as it points out his creative energy will bring new life and strength to Rome. Decius tells that the dream symbolizes Caesar’s spirit of influence and Rome will derive sustenance from Caesar.

Decius Brutus interpreted her dream in a better way by appealing to Ceasar's vanity. First of all, he said that Caesar's statue spouting blood and many Romans coming and dipping their hands in it did not mean any danger to Caesar. He said that Rome will be influenced by Caesar's spirit and will revive. Many Romans will keep tinctures, cognizance, etc of him and will hand it over to posterity as a rich legacy.
Decius Brutus who was a good flatterer interpreted Calpurnia 's dream in a positive manner. He gave many examples which made Caesar to change his mind.He said that the dream was very rare and fortunate because Caesar was to be crowned on that day.He also warned him that if he doesn 't go to the senate to receive his crown then the senate would change their mind and would offer the crown to someone else.He also said that the Romans would really gain power, confidence and inspiration from Caesar 's blood rather than wash their hands with his blood with a bad intention.
His intention was to murder Julius Caesar. He along with other conspirators made plan to murder Caesar at the senate. When Caesar decided not to go to the senate then Decius feared that their plan of murdering Caesar would go in vain.So he interpreted the dream in this manner.
