Trees take in the carbon dioxide that we exhale, but they release oxygen into the atmosphere as a byproduct of photosynthesis. when we cut down large number of trees, we decrease oxygen production in that area also trees and plants make their food by the process of photosynthesis and hence they balance the amount of carbond dioxide in the atmosphere as they are cutted down the nature get disbalanced..
