Deforestation means the action of clearing a wide area of trees. as we know trees are very helpful in our everyday life. we use trees in every aspect of life. trees give us oxygen.they provide us food and wood. many trees provide us medicines. without trees, our life is not possible. cutting of trees leads to greenhouse effect and greenhouse effect causes global warming. global warming simply means raising the high amount of harmful gases like CO2 and carbon monoxide and decreasing the amount of O2 in our atmosphere.  as trees provide oxygen to us the deforestation leads to the reduction of oxygen. global warming raises the temperature and temperature raising melts ice bergs which are very dangerous to humankind. so plant more trees and reduce global warming.

Effects of DeforestationDeforestation can have a negative impact on theenvironment. The most dramatic impact is a loss of habitat for millions of species. Eighty percent of Earth's land animals and plants live in forests, and many cannot survive the deforestation that destroys their homes.
