Reduced rainfall will reduce the amount of water absorption in the soil. This soil will be dry and leads to lower water intake in the trees. This will cause soil erosion and will lead to floods.

Answer:
Deforestation is the process of cutting trees in large scale. Trees are the main reason for rain(transpiration). So, rain will be stopped. Trees stop water flowing by controlling it's way. If there is no trees, water can flow easily and lead to floods.
