Ruminants have rumen in them which allows them to digest

Explanation:

ruminents do not have cellulase enzyme to digest cellulose(green leaf n vegetable) so they have a special 4 chambered stomach.

  1. rumen
  2. reticulum
  3. omasum
  4. abomasum

in rumen all the food is first exposed to bacteria which are present in ruminants stomach, they mechanically grind n digest it partially. n then further digestion accur in other chambers.
