How does domestic sewage affect aquatic animals?

domestic sewage will be let down in the fresh water bodies where many marine animals live and have that place as their habitat.when mny domestic sewages are produced everytime,the marine animals get choked down with the plastic and other non bio degradable products are let in.there will also be many chemials present in them which will not be suitable for marine animals.in this way the marine animals choke plastic in them and die.it cause many pollution in  the environment too.Some marine species, such as sea turtles, have been found to contain large proportions of plastics in their stomach this shows that how much the marine animals are affected.
