First off, double circulation DOESN’T take place in fish - SINGLE CIRCULATION does.
Their hearts have only two chambers. Blood is pumped to the gills where it’s oxygenated and then passes directly to the rest of it’s body. Thus blood goes only once through the heart in one cycle and hence it’s known single circulation.
