⭐ Welcome to the concept of electric motor⭐

✨ What is an electric motor?✨
It is a device which converts electrical energy into mechanical energy.

✨Basic equipment of motor ✨
⭕ Armature
⭕ Horseshoe magnet
⭕Split ring commutator
⭕ Battery
⭕ Brushes

✨How does it work?✨
An electric motor is based upon the magnetic effect of current.
When an electric current is passed through a conductor placed at right angle to the magnetic field,a force perpendicular to both the magnetic field and the current acts on the conductor. This makes the conductor move. The direction of motion of conductor is given by Flemming's left hand rule.

the working of electric motor (DCmotor) is clear from the following discussion:-
apply Fleming's left hand rule,we find that arm ad experience a force which is acting outwards &perpendicular to it and arm BC experience a force which is acting inwards and perpendicular to it.
these 2forces from a couple whose moment makes the armetyre rotate in the anti clock wise direction .
I hope my answer helps u
