How does evaporation causes cooling?

When evaporation occurs then than the liquid (mostly water) absorbs all the heat from the surroundings and take it with it and we feel coolevaporation causes cooling effect because the heat energy is absorbed by surrounding particles.

evaporation causes cooling because during evaporation the particles of liquid absorb energy from the surroundings to regain the energy lost during evaporation . the absorption of heat from the surroundings makes the surroundings cool .
