Answer: when liquid exposed to surface area or temperature is given to it then it will evaporate in form of water vapours as vapour possessing higher kinetic energy will evaporate rapidly remaining with lower Kinetic energy will be left down hence their overall energy is low and cooling is caused!!

Answer:

1. Evaporation causes cooling because the process requires heat energy. The energy is taken away by the molecules when they convert from liquid to gas and this causes cooling on the original surface.

2. Evaporation occurs when liquid water turns into a water vapour, with about 90 percent of the water going through such a transformation originating from rivers, lakes and oceans. Heat is the cause of evaporation and is required to separate water molecules from one another.

3. There are many factors that affect the evaporation rate. The rate of evaporation depends on the liquid's exposed surface area, the humidity of surroundings, the presence of wind and the temperature.
