How does evaporation differ from boiling ​

Evaporation is a free surface process while boiling is a bulk surface process.

Boiling occurs at a given temperature while the Evaporation doesn't occurs in any fixed temperature.

Boiling needs latent heat while Evaporation doesn't need any latent heat.

evaporation takes place at any temperature below boiling point.Boiling takes place at a specific constant temperature called as boiling point. evaporation is surface phenomenon while boiling is bulk phenomenon.
