Answer:

Frogs lay large number of eggs and release millions of sperms. But all eggs don't fertilise and develop into new individuals. Some eggs and sperms get exposed to water movement, rainfall and wind and are lost. Also, there are some animals that feed on eggs. Therefore production of a large number of eggs and sperms is necessary to ensure fertilisation of a few of them.

During the mating season,the female frog lays eggs in water after that the Male frog releases sperms on the eggs

After that sperm cell defuses with the egg cell and divides into many cells.The cell develops and come out of in the form of a tadpole around 6 to 21 days
