Pollination in mustard plants occur through self pollination. In the occurrence that pollination occurs from pollen grains of a flower from another plant, the process is usually aided by bees and not wind. This is so because the pollen grains of the mustard flower are heavy and cannot be carried off to longer distances. The pollen then land on the stigma of the mustard flowers which move to the ovary of the mustard flower, fertilizing the ovules in the ovary - which forms the mustard seeds.
