How does focal length of a lens change when red light incident on it is replaced by violet light? Give reason for your answer?

focal length of red colour is large than the voilet colour

and power is inversely proportional to the focal length

hence power of lense will increase on incident of violent colour

red light gets refracted the least, so the focal lenght will be longer. But when it is replaced by violet light, which gets refracted the most, the focal length will decrease
