how does food get digested from the mouth to the anus

In human beings food digest from mouth with the help of teeth,saliva,tough and then it move to the stomach by the peristaltic movement of oesophagus.when food enters stomach there the bacteria's are killed with the help of HCL and then the food moves to the small intestine. In small intestine the wanted and digested food will be absorbed by the help of villi.After this the food enters the large intestine ,there the water molecules are absorbed.After that the unwanted and undigested food will be converted into fecus,which is semisolid.It will be stored in rectum and then it will be eliminated though the anus......

digestion starts from mouth with help our teeth , with its chewing movement and mixing it with saliva which contains enzyme salivary amylase and lyzoyme (prevents form infection).Theae enzymes helps in digestion of carbohydrates

food is swallowed to stomach.

stomach contains acidic gastric juices(HCL) and through its churning movement it mixes the food called chyme.Stomach secreates several enzymes like pepsin,renin,and small amount of lipases which help in digestion of several proteins

food moves into small intestine

there gets mixed with bile juice,pancreatic juice and intestinal juice which are secreations of samll intestine.

The food is futher absorbed by the small intestine and fecaes are tranfered to large intestine

And from there to anus
