frost says that he was sad. but when the crow came and sat on hemlock tree ,it shook some particles of snow which fell on the poet. the poet was giving attention on his sadness but his attention was shaken when dust of snow fell on him. so, the dust of snow helped the poet to come out of his sadness. it means that his mood was changed by dust of snow.
