Hi _______

An electrical fuse works by breaking the circuit when there is a fault in an appliance that causes too much current to flow.

The wire within the circuit melts due to the heat generated when the current going through the circuit is too great.

How it work?

As the current in a wire increases so does the heat generated. A fuse is simply a thinner piece of wire in the circuit. If the current gets too high the thin wire will melt and stop the current.

hope it helps..

It is a domestic circuit.A fuse in a circuit prevent damage to the appliances and the circuit due to overloading.

overloading can occur when the live wire and neutral wire come in direct contact.in this situation current increases. This is called short-circuiting.The use of an electric fuse prevent the electric current and the appliances from a possible damage by stopping the flow of unduly high current.

hope this will help you!
