consider the example of 12 beetle story

the redBeatles and blue Beatles are said to be two different species when they cannot interbreed among itself

imagine that a beetle in a bush is taken by the crow to eat but escaped and fell on the other Bush without eating

the Beatle reproduce with the new population due to gene flow its blue character inherited into this population

let us imagine that a new river came to existence between the two bushes then
these population would be separated

chances that variation might occur into different species

several generation when the species meet each other then they could not meet due to salary variations

this leads to the formation of new species
