How does glucose help the patient recover??

as glucose gives us energy the most energy which we get from is from carbohydrates and carbohydrate is converted into glucose if we take glucose so we get energy and it helps the patient..

Even helps to improve digestion it is mostly given when patient is suffering from dehydration..

Glucose is the simplest form of carbohydrate...... In a patient, the process of digestion becomes slow, glucose here also helps the patient in increasing the pace of digestion...
