How does guard cell help in opening of stomata

Gaurd cells are responsible for opening And closing of the stomata. Just like the lips are responsible for the opening and closing of our mouth.

the opening and closing of the stomatal pore is the role of guard cells.
the guard cells swell and becomes turgid when water flows into them,causing the stomatal pore to open.similarly ,the guard cells closes if the guard cells shrink and becomes flaccid.
