Iswaran had read many Tamil thrillers and these certainly had deep impact on him. He had a different way to tell a tale. He, in fact, wove a yarn in a very interesting manner. He became so involved in the story that he became a part of it.

So, in the story of the mad tusker (elephant), there were many twists and turns and he was unexpectedly the hero of the story who faced and dealt with the mad elephant. He jumped around and enacted the story which made it all more interesting.

No, the way in which Iswaran said that he controlled the mad elephant all by himself certainly does not seem to be possible at all.

----Iswaran know very well how to narrate a story in the best way.He tries his best to make story interesting. His face expressions, his gesture were very good.When he was telling story of tusker he told so many things which were out of thinking like elephant which no one can control was controlled by a small child.
