He narrated the story of the tusker that escaped from timber yard and began to roam about. He stamped on bushes tore up creepers and broke the branches. The elephant then reached the outskirts of Iswaran's town. It started smashing fruit stalls, mud pots and fences. People started running in all directions in panic. The tusker then entered the school ground and started pulling the football-goal post, tore volleyball net, kicked and flattened the water drum. Iswaran then grabbed a cane from the teacher and hit the elephant's toe nail. The elephant got paralysed at once.
The story seems to be unlikely as Iswaran was then a small boy and moreover, he could not have known how to make an elephant paralysed. The account does not seem plausible.
